Password expires notification

I have seen this post but by extension. Is it also possible to send the users a notification the moment their password expires within X time?

Yes this should be possible using a scheduled task.
You can use the datasource as starting point for the task (getting the right users)

Also, it isn't that complicated to create a PowerShell script for this.
If you are satisfied with running a scheduled task which checks this for the users and then sends a mail whenever it expire in X days, this is.
